The hotel is at beautiful location, it is very quiet, it has a unique atmosphere old Quebec. Staff is very kindly and always glad to help or explain.
The hotel is well situated in old town Quebec. The staff was most helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were excellent.
My wife and I are 75 and I have a bad back. To obtain the room we wanted (twin beds) we had to climb two flights of steep stairs. Most guests would not have a problem but this was my unique issue. Certainly not a complaint about the hotel.
We stayed for two nights for a weekend gateway. This is a small hotel therefore you don't get a standard room as you stay at chain hotels. I feel like it's more like a B&B type hotel where the staff are friendly and the breakfast is also provided. The location is good that everything in the old town is in walking distance. [Well, Quebec city old town isn't too big] The facility is old but they keep it very clean.
The only drawback is the bathroom in my room is very small.
Proximity to old Quebec, warmth and comfort, history.
We like the quite, home-like atmosphere of this B&B, and the host is vey nice.
Quiet, comfortable, not so close to noisy restaurants but the area was not buzzing. Easy walks around Quebec City though. Breakfast good.
No coffee sachets in room. Tea offered.
Our room was lovely; furnished with a mix of antiques, art, and, comfort! The food, both dinner and breakfast, was outstanding! We really appreciated the generous list of half bottles of wine. Friendly service, great food, and a comfortable room! This is a winner.
I like the garden and dining room there
We loved the location which is within the walled city of Quebec. We also enjoyed staying in the old home filled with antiques.
We stayed in the side house which had no lift for the luggage, and you have to climb alot of stairs.
The interior and decor in the room were very good. The coffee for breakfast was very good.
We really enjoyed the room, it was spacious, clean and the decor was very nice. The staff was very accomodating.
That there was an additional $15/day cad for parking.
The best part of the hotel was our location in old Quebec. We stayed in a very tiny room but it had all the essentials and was quite cosy. Very quiet, the only sound we heard was the sound of horses hooves on the street. A very comfortable stay. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was good.
The view from the room was of buildings.
It is hare to "categorize" the hotel. It is certainly very interesting compared to other hotels because of the genuine period furniture, art and artefact, well in-keeping with the history of Quebec City. It is also very central and reasonable. Thank you
It was beautiful, clean, quiet and in a very convenient location within walking distance of everything in the Old City.
It was quiet and had a homely atmosphere. The rooms had personal touches and it was nice meeting the other guests at breakfast.
